Life is Exciting!

life has taken an exciting turn!

after sneaking into the Calvary Chapel Pastor's Conference with the Reynolds, I felt very overwhelmed. seeing the quality leadership and bible teaching just floored me. the pastors and their wives sat around laughing together and everyone accepted me like they'd known me for years. it was just about the best weekend of my life.

the next week I prayed and fasted, asking God to give me a verse about whether I should pursue teaching or ministry. my verse came in 2 Cor. 3:8-9 "how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?...the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory." ofcourse! teaching the Word is way better than teaching school!

a couple weeks later I was doing my reading with commentary on blueletterbible. I noticed someone had added a new section of commentary, some guy from Calvary Chapel Graduate Ministry School. I hadn't heard of a graduate program at the ministry school before, so I looked it up. as I read about the program my heart latched on. I was so excited I couldn't even finish my bible reading...for the next four days! all I could do was think about spending 3 years in ministry training in California. the possibility is so exciting!

in just over a month, my life has turned from teaching highschool history to pursuing full-time ministry in whatever capacity. and hopefully training with Calvary Chapel in California! whoop!
